People seeking healthcare often feel trapped within the borders of the healthcare ecosystem. 86Borders was founded on a simple idea: no one should face barriers when it comes to their health. Too often, health plan members encounter barriers — whether it’s transportation, housing, language, or confusing benefit systems. However, members are not the only ones navigating these barriers. Health plans, providers, hospitals, labs, pharmacies, and community-based organizations can sometimes operate in silos that leave members without the care and support they need.
Our mission is to break down those barriers by truly engaging with and connecting members to resources, and bridging gaps across the healthcare system, while walking alongside each member until their needs are fully met.
